Update to powerful bibliographic software includes WordPerfect 12 compatibility and more

 

Carlsbad, CA, USA - October 24, 2005 — Today, Thomson ResearchSoft (www.researchsoft.com), a business of The Thomson Corporation, announced the availability of an update to Reference Manager®, the popular bibliographic management software used by corporate, government and academic researchers worldwide. The Reference Manager 11.0.1 update provides WordPerfect 12 compatibility, access to PubMed in Proxy server environments, improved support for MS Word track changes, plus new and updated import filters and output styles. Reference Manager 11 users can update their program automatically using the built-in “Updates” feature.

Reference Manager makes it easy to collaborate with colleagues, whether it’s over a network, an intranet or the Web. Known as the only bibliographic software with a true multi-user network version, Reference Manager also provides a Web publisher for posting up to 15 Reference Manager databases on the Web or to an intranet in seconds. Colleagues can access the Web publisher site to search, add, edit and export references in RIS and XML formats.

Designed for Windows® 2000 and XP, Reference Manager 11.0.1 builds bibliographies in Microsoft® Word® 2000, XP, 2003 and WordPerfect® 9-12. The update is free to Reference Manager 11 users. The list price of Reference Manager single user version is $329.95 USD. Students in North America can purchase Reference Manager for $109.95 with valid student I.D. The list price of Reference Manager network version is $1,395.95 USD. Special upgrade prices are available to owners of previous versions.
