THE THAI LIBRARY INTEGRATED SYSTEM CONSORTIUM ACQUIRES WEB OF SCIENCE

First Asia Pacific national license for Thomson Scientific

 

Philadelphia, PA USA-London UK - Aug. 22, 2005 — Today, Thomson Scientific announced that the Thai Library Integrated System Consortium (ThaiLIS), comprising Thailand’s 24 public universities, has purchased Web of Science®. Web of Science is the powerful Web-based information resource that enables users to search current and retrospective multidisciplinary information from the world’s most prestigious scholarly journals. This is the first national license agreement for Thomson Scientific in the Asia-Pacific region.
